Hardware Requirements for Basketball
A standard basketball court should be a rectangle of 28m×15m. The measurement of the field is measured from the inner edge of the boundary line, and the measurement of each area, line and circle in the field is measured from the outer edge of the boundary line, and the line width of each line on the field is 5cm. The ground should be solid and flat, and there should be no obstacles within at least 2m around it. There are two 2m long lines in the team bench area, the color of which should be very different from the color of the sideline and the end line.
The pillars of the basketball hoop shall be at least 1m away from the outer edge of the end line. The backboard should have a horizontal width of 1.80m, a vertical height of 1.05m, and the lower edge should be 2.90m from the ground (the original 1.80m×1.20m size of the backboard can still be used). The bottom, edges and pillars of the backboard should be properly bandaged. The upper edge of the basket ring is 3.05m away from the ground, and the diameter of the ring strip of the basket ring is 1.7~2cm.
